We aim to make fresh produce accessible to all families in our community. We believe everyone should have access to healthy & organic food, and at a reasonable price.

Our Beginning

New Green Organiks took root in our backyard. Our family found a need for fresh produce and nutrient dense food, so we decided to provide that not only for ourselves, but for as many people as we could. We started small, planting leafy greens, root vegetables and microgreens. When it came time to harvest, we gave extras away to family and friends, and eventually began attending a local farmers market. Now, after 3 years of growing and learning, we have seen drastic health improvements in many people’s lives(including our own) and we hope that many more will benefit from growing and eating healthy food in the future.

“A happy and healthy community is not as far off as we may think. All we need is a seed and a little love.”

— TRAVIS green, FOUNDER

We started the garden by clearing woods behind our house and creating a small 2000 square foot growing area with a small area to compost. Since then, we have almost doubled our growing area and built 2 greenhouses.

Our Mission

Tallahassee and the surrounding areas have a great demand for organic and healthy food. To aid in providing for our community, we seek to nourish our neighbors at the most fundamental level with healthy food options and a strong support network. We believe life should be full of community, healthy interests and relationships, and of course, healthy food. This can all be achieved simply by knowing your farmer and attending local farmer’s markets.

Additionally, we work with local restaurants who believe in providing local, healthy food to the community. Through these relationships we are able to establish a strong support system to help sustain our business and mission as farmers.
